Our Reach

Our Story

Kanaya means “Goddess” in Balinese — a tribute to the divine in all things beautiful. It’s also the name of Vikas's daughter, a symbol of purity and purpose.
Our journey began in 2021, but its roots go back decades — through the vibrant gemstone markets of Jaipur, the buzzing jewelry hubs of China, and finally to the soulful heart of Bali. We realized early that to build something real, we needed full control: of design, production, and purpose. In the hills of Bali, we found not just inspiration — we found our identity.
We met master carvers, guardians of ancient techniques passed down generations. We listened, we learned, we earned their trust. And with them, we built a sanctuary of art and respect — a thriving artisan family now over 50 strong. Kanaya Silver was born not in a boardroom, but in the quiet glow of molten silver, the rhythmic strokes of a carving knife, and the heartbeat of the island itself.

Our Team

Artisans

Our heart and soul. We work with Bali’s most revered master carvers and smiths, many of whom have passed down their skills for generations. These aren’t just workers — they’re co-creators, storytellers, and the true artists behind Kanaya Silver.

Designers

Led by seasoned designers with experience in international brands like John Hardy and DY, our design team blends heritage with high fashion. They collaborate closely with artisans to ensure every piece retains authenticity while appealing to global tastes.

Production & Management

From production heads to polishers to logistics managers, our professional team ensures seamless workflow, on-time deliveries, and ethical practices. Every member is aligned with our values of respect, quality, and creativity.

About Bali

Bali is not just a location — it is a living spirit. Known for its natural beauty, Bali is also a sacred island deeply tied to Hindu Dharma, where rituals, art, and daily life are inseparable.

A Legacy of Jewelry

Balinese jewelry dates back centuries — from temple adornments to royal accessories. Traditional techniques like Tulang Naga (dragon bone weaving), granulation, and filigree are still practiced today, though only by a few remaining masters.

A Culture of Craft

Every village here has its specialty — woodcarving in Mas, silverwork in Celuk, weaving in Tenganan. At Kanaya, we don’t just source skills — we preserve them.
